Important Information for Custom Design Orders
Please review the following guidelines carefully before finalizing your custom suit order. These points help manage expectations regarding the production process and the final appearance of your garment.
1. Color Expectations
Printed vs. Factory-Dyed Colors: Please be aware that printed colors generally have less intensity than factory-dyed fabrics. This is particularly noticeable with bright or UV-reactive shades. For instance, our standard Taslan Orange dyed fabric will appear much more vibrant than a printed orange equivalent.
Monitor vs. Physical Product: Colors displayed on digital screens (RGB) cannot be replicated perfectly in print (CMYK). While we strive for the closest possible match, slight variations are inevitable, and we cannot guarantee an exact color replica of what you see on your monitor.
2. Design & Pattern Alignment
Crossing Sewing Lines: We recommend avoiding graphics that cross over seams or zippers. While we attempt to align patterns across these breaks, a 100% match cannot be guaranteed due to the physical assembly process. Additionally, designs requiring precise alignment across seams incur extra design costs.
Design Plans vs. Final Product: The design plans provided are digital mockups intended to give an overall visual representation of your suit. They are not 100% exact replicas. During production, details may be refined or slightly adjusted to suit the technical requirements of the garment.
3. Costs & Copyright
Design Fees: Custom designs incur additional labor costs based on complexity. Beyond the standard printing fee, we charge a design fee of €50–€100 per hour. The total will be reflected in the price section of your provided info screen.
Copyrighted Material: We cannot print copyrighted logos, artwork, or trademarks without express written permission or a valid license from the original creator.
4. Logistics & Lead Times
File Storage: While we often keep graphic files (logos and design plans) for your future orders, we only guarantee file storage for 30 days following your order.
Delivery Schedule: Opting for a custom-printed suit adds approximately two weeks to our standard lead time to account for graphic preparation and the specialized printing process.
5. Care & Maintenance
To preserve the quality of your custom print, please follow these instructions:
Initial Wash: The first wash should be done in cold water.
Standard Washing: Subsequent washes should not exceed 30°C.
Drying & Storage: Do not leave the suit soaking in water after the cycle ends.
Ironing: Never iron directly over printed sections; use a low heat setting on non-printed areas only.
